The Really Youthful Theatre Company...helping young people discover their creative potential

The RYTC has gained a national reputation for its winning formula, helping young people to develop through the performing arts.
On a creative adventure, participants develop in all areas of theatre; acting, script writing, improvisation, production, voice, stage management, stage design, lighting and sound, combat, directing and costume.

Young artists push boundaries; creating original work which reflects our age, our values, our debates, our concerns, our humour and most importantly our dreams. We state what we think theatre should be, not what others think or expect, we break taboos and challenge labels that young people just don’t want.

The RYTC  reaches all ages, demographics and community through a very special programme of training, performance and enrichment through the arts and partnerships.

RYTC young people gain in confidence, skills and talent, many pursue careers in the theatre, TV and film…. all emerge as imaginative and resourceful individuals.

Groups are led by our creative staff with guest directors and experts from all disciplines and backgrounds.
